PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The fuel pump is located at the fuel tank and is designed to convey the required quantity of fuel from the tank to the engine at the necessary pressure.

The pump pumps the fuel from the fuel tank via the fuel filter to the injection bar or to the high-pressure pump (for engines with direct injection systems).

In many vehicles, the fuel pump delivers more fuel than is actually needed. The excess fuel flows back into the tank via the so-called fuel return line and can then be sucked in again.

Signs/Symptoms of a Bad Fuel Pump

  • 1. Fuel Tank Noise
  • 2. Difficult Starting your vehicle
  • 3. Low Fuel Efficiency
  • 4. Engine Sputtering
  • 5.  Stalling at High Temperatures

Be sure to take note of this issues to avoid complete fuel pump failure while on the road.
